Numbers have always been a big part of Dr. Cho’s life from an early age. Dr. Cho obtained her Bachelor degree in Statistics in 1984 from Institute of Economics, Yangon, Myanmar. She pursued her Honours degree a year later and gained her Master’s degree in 1992 from the same university. Dr. Cho was accorded her Ph.D from the Faculty of Economics, University Malaya in 2009, for her thesis on “ASEAN Trade and Exchange Rate Patterns: Possibility towards Adopting a Common Currency”.
Marrying her passion for numbers with her passion for teaching, Dr. Cho has been an academician for 16 years with Institute of Economics, Yangon, and has been lecturing in Malaysia since 2007. Her diverse teaching experiences include Forecasting and Business Analysis, Quantitative Methods for Business, Macroeconomics and Research Methods for under-graduate and post-graduate students. As an academician, she also supervised many final year students’ projects for Honours degree, Master’s Theses, and Ph.D theses.
Unsurprisingly, Dr. Cho’s keen research interest lies with Statistics, Applied Econometrics and International Macroeconomics (Exchange Rate Management, and East Asian Financial-Capital Market Integration). Her research also includes network theory, applied macroeconomics and policy analysis; and matters related to East Asian financial and economic integration. Dr. Cho has written on exchange rate management, trade competitiveness, monetary policy and model selection in several international journals and conferences. Her recent research work is entitled “How Fragile Finance Has Become”. Moreover, she is also a reviewer of “Asian Journal of Business and Accounting”, and “Journal of Education and Information Technologies”. Beside publications, she gave talks and trainings of “Fun with Mathematics”, “SPSS” and “Research Methods” in Taylors University.

Multi-tasking and training have always been playing as major roles in a life of Mr. Saw. Passion in learning is defined him to obtain wider knowledges in many different areas. Mr. Saw obtained Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics in 2004 and started pursuing Business and Management qualifications awarded from Association of Business Executive (ABE), UK. He specialized in Business Administration and Travel, Tourism and Hospitality pathways in his ABE, UK education. He also studied and received diploma in Mechanical Engineering from Yangon Technological University and Post-graduate diploma in Tourism Studies and Management from University of Yangon. In 2017, he completed the graduate degree course in Business Administration and obtained the International Executive Master degree in Business Administration in Human Resource Management specialization (IEMBA, HRM) from Paris Graduate School of Management, France. His dissertation is related with “Training Needs Analysis” under wide areas of Human Resource Management.
After graduation of his first degree, Mr. Saw had interest in Environmental Conservation and Community Development programs. He was one of the several professionals in Ecotourism in Myanmar and worked for several years in Ecotourism field. He had completed training in Ecotourism Operations and Management held by Thailand government for ASEAN and Gulf countries. In 2013, Mr. Saw joined the biggest bi-literal organization of Japanese Government which provides Official Development Assistance (ODA) to other countries. During his full-time career, he has been taking duty and responsibility in various sectors such as government relations, assisting emergency relief goods in disaster management, human resource management and development, designing and implementing various training programs, managing insurance and tax issues for the staff, managing the office IT infrastructure, visa management for foreign expatriates and office procurement. Besides his full-time work, he shares his knowledge as professional trainer in some institutes, non-profit organizations and business organizations. He is delivering trainings in the areas of Business Management, Operations Management, Logistic and Procurement, Organizational Management, Customer Service, Business Communication, Human Resource Management and Leadership.

Daw Swe Zin Aye founded the Myanmar Human Resources Management Institute (MHR) in 1998 and it was the very first institute in Myanmar offering Business Management Diploma courses awarded by The Association of Business Executive (ABE), UK. MHR is also providing corporate training programs for the companies, ABE Endorsed Programs for working executives and professionals as well as short courses for meeting industrial requirements.
Daw Swe Zin Aye obtained the Advanced Certificate in Marketing from Charter Institute of Marketing (CIM, UK) in 2003 and Bachelor of Arts (Economics) degree from University of Yangon in 2004. She has been awarded the Fellowship of ABE from The Association of Business Executives (UK) in 2016 and achieved the Graduate Diploma in Business Management in 2017. In early years, Daw Swe Zin Aye joined and worked in Myanmar Survey Research (MSR) market research company in 1997 after her high school completion. And she founded the MHR management institute with other co-founders in 1998 and served as Deputy Managing Director from 1998 to 2015. Since 2016, she has been leading the institute as Managing Director.
Daw Swe Zin Aye is always interested and participated actively in women development activities and programs. She has been providing necessary training and development activities for women in workplace and young women generations such as Personal Grooming and other workplace essential trainings in social organizations, governmental organizations, and actively cooperated to the trainings related to Woman Empowerment and Development conducted by the Ministry of Industry, Myanmar.
